What’s On For The Easter Holidays

Have a fantastic family break during the Easter holidays right here in the Cairngorms. Enjoy a wide range of things to do at Cairngorm Mountain, just a short drive from Aviemore. 

1. Ride the Mountain Railway

Open every day. Book your ticket including family discounted tickets online. 

2. The Ptarmigan Experience

When you arrive at The Ptarmigan on the mountain railway you can capture views from over 1,000 metres above sea level. You’ll also find our interactive sandboxes and more.

3. Adventure Play Park

Open every day during the holidays (weather permitting), little ones will have a ball with the small tubing slide, zip lines, climbing frame and jumping pillow.

4. Adventure Ball Runs

A great family experience for all ages including toddlers. Answer some fun questions with Rhona the Reindeer to move to the next step, before racing your ball down the track.

5. Mountain Tubing Slides

Great fun for little ones from 4 years old through to grandparents! Enjoy an exhilarating session on our tubing slides. Open on selected dates in the easter holidays, book online to avoid disappointment.

6. Easter Snowsports

Subject to snow conditions you can learn to ski or snowboard on our gentle slopes or take on the bigger runs for the experienced skiers! We offer equipment hire too.

 7. Refuel at the Cairngorm Café

Located next to our tubing slides, enjoy a family lunch together with a seat in front of our log fire on a cold day or enjoy the views from our terrace outside. The café is dog friendly too.

 8. A Relaxing Visit

If outdoor activities aren’t your thing, experience a more relaxing visit taking in the views. You’ll find benches overlooking Loch Morlich and pathways to explore more of our grounds and viewpoints. You can also pick up a new book from our Mountain Shop.
