For those experiencing snowsports for the first time we have everything you need to kick-start your journey with an on-site equipment rental facility, our dedicated beginner’s area at the base of the resort, and a range of gentle slopes accessible when conditions allow.

So we can ensure the safety of all mountain users, it is essential for beginners of any age to book a lesson, unless they are accompanied by a competent skier or snowboarder.
We do not currently operate our own in-house snowsports school however, we work closely in partnership with highly qualified, local businesses who operate independently on the mountain to offer quality instruction and provide our customers with the best learning experience possible.

Adaptive Snowsports
We have accommodated adaptive snowsports at Cairngorm Mountain for many years, working with Disability Snowsport UK to get people of all abilities out on the slopes.
The DSUK office is on the ground floor of the Day Lodge and can be accessed via the ramp on the right hand side of the building. We are pleased to continue to assist with the excellent work they are doing both at Cairngorm Mountain and further afield.
