Family Fun this Easter at Cairngorm Mountain
Have a fantastic spring break with the family right here at Cairngorm Mountain, just a short drive from Aviemore. Here’s what on for the whole family!
1. Easter Snowsports for Beginners
- Book a session on our beginners slopes*
- Learn to ski or board with one of our 3 ski school partners
- Effortless conveyor uplift to the top of the beginners run!
- Ski hire available on site
- Viewing terrace to watch your family in action
*You must be able to ski or board to book a session on the beginners slopes or alternatively accompanied by a competent skier or boarder.
2. Mountain Tubing & Adventure Play Park
- Open throughout the Easter school holidays (from Friday 29th March – Sunday 14th April)
- Wee slide and play park suitable for ages 2 – 8
- Big slides suitable for ages 4+ to grandparents!
- Picnic benches close by
3. Wild Mountain Garden
- Open throughout the Easter school holidays (free entry)
- Learn all about the local habitants, flowers and plants
- Pick up the family quiz at the Mountain Shop (£1 for prize on completion)
- Get a photo at the highest phone box in the UK
- Discover the camera obscura and viewpoint
- Relax on the picnic benches
NO BOOKING REQUIRED. JUST COME ALONG.
4. Refuel at the Cairngorm Café
- Enjoy a hot chocolate by the log fire
- Outdoor terrace with seating and mountain views!
- Family friendly menu for all ages
- Bring all the family (we’re dog friendly)
5. Visit the Mountain Shop
- Pick up your prize here for the Mountain Garden Quiz (£1)
- Browse pocket money souvenirs and momentos
- Cairngorm Mountain unique gifts
- Outdoor clothing and toys
6. Before You Go
- Discover our new car park with benches and viewpoints
- Panoramic views down to Loch Morlich
- Grab your family selfie
Good to Know
- Travel lighter by jumping on the Aviemore Adventurer bus which runs regularly from Aviemore centre to our front door, and leave a lighter footprint.
- Baby changing and disabled toilet facilities
- Dog friendly
- Cairngorm Mountain Railway currently out of service
