The new Adventure Ball Runs at Cairngorm Mountain provide hours of fun and laughter for the whole family. The experience begins with a series of fun questions that you have to get right to get your ball back! Then watch your ball snake through the ball runs in the Mountain Garden before reaching the final ball runs at the bike park.

Great for families

Ideal for families with younger children, this new activity runs throughout the school holidays and every day weather permitting until the end of Autumn. The ball runs will bring hours of fun and laughter, bringing a new attraction for families with younger children to experience.

The adventure ball runs are accessed with the purchase of a Cairngorm Mountain wooden ball at £5 per ball. The ball is yours to keep and to use over and over again. From early August, a free session on the wee tubing slide will also be included! 

No booking required. Purchase your ball from the Ticket Office or Mountain Shop on the day.

Rhona the Reindeer Ball Runs

Begin the adventure ball run experience with Rhona the Reindeer at the Camera Obscura in the Mountain Garden.

Here Rhona will ask you 7 fun questions which you must get correct to get your ball to the finish point! 

Children age 14 or under must be supervised by an adult (and to assist reaching the ball holes).

Fergus the Frog Ball Run

Have fun watching your ball snake through the ball run in the Mountain Garden.

When you purchase your wooden ball you’ll also receive a fun quiz to complete with some questions from Fergus which you’ll find answers to in the garden.

Children age 14 or under must be supervised by an adult.

The Hare Twins Ball Run

Enjoy panoramic views from over 600 feet above sea level at Heather and Hamish’s ball run finale!

Watch as you ball twists and turns it’s way down Heather’s ball track and then have a go at her brother Hamish’s final ball run.

Children age 14 or under must be supervised by an adult.

The Wee Slide

When you purchase a wooden ball for the ball runs you’ll also receive a wrist band for free entry to use the wee slide called The Snowflake (subject to availability).

This gentle slope is only suitable for wee ones aged 2 to 8. For older children discover our larger slides.

The wee slide is not manned by an attendant therefore children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
