3 day weather forecast SAIS Avalanche Forecast
Top Station Weather for Friday. Wind 10 - 15mph. Temp -1C, Cloud cover on the top areas, visibility 100m reducing to 30m at the top in snow showers. Quite a lot of Water Ice on tows, having to de-ice each tow manually - may be some delays in opening top tows. New snow has an icy crust, hard but grippy.
We will have a shuttle bus running from the Ciste Car Park to Day Lodge - see times below.
Please feed T-Bars back into Boxes at the top ramps of the lift to prevent damage and stoppages.
Recent snow is now consoildating and we are confident that the main ski area is pretty safe, however offpiste outside the main area there is probably still a risk of avalanche, we advise people not to ski alone and to check SAIS site prior to going in these areas. A big thank you to Adrian from G.F. Job and Oliver from BAM Ritchies.
Due to an increasing amount of runaway boards on the mountain, boarders must wear a leash. These can be bought from the shops at the bottom or top.
